Current Infrastructural Foci:
- Improving/Maintaining water systems: Maintaining and/or updating the pond, house, and hydroelectric waterlines as well as taking stock of and refurbishing existing water storage apparatus. We are also searching for an inline water heater or two.
- Restoration of the workshop: Once the historic general store/post office, this building became the ranch workshop. We have so far replaced the roof, porch (as of July 2025), and are in the process of completing the porch roof paneling.
- Barn Renovation: Renovation of the historic mortice and tenon barn where we house our goats. We are in the process of (during this summer of 2025) replacing the south-facing wall, roof, and necessary structural components, as well as renovating the resident space upstairs.
- Electrical Infrastructure: Updating power inputs/outputs such as inverters and solar panels, expanding electrical power storage in the form of acquiring more batteries for the existing array, replacing inefficient lighting, replacing old wiring, and adding/replacing outlets where necessary
- Maintaining/Refurbishing Tools: Taking inventory of and refurbishing the historic tools, such as the lathes, hand tools, etc.
- Agriculture: Continued use and vitalization of the gardens, orchards, vinyard, and renovation of the greenhouse(the polycarbonate roof replacement and frame maintenance completed 2024).
- Bathhouse: To be Completed before Jan 2026
We are in search of some equipment:
- Inline water heaters
- Backhoe/Excavator (in any state of repair.)
- Small Tractor for towing our tiller
- IBC Tanks
