We are seeking inspiration and partnership in creating an enduring future for the Black Bear land. During this period we are looking for people interested in being part of our Black Bear mission of stewardship as friends, visitors, residents of the land or in spirit as donors to our effort. Because of the small size of the current residential community, the ranch cannot support large numbers of visitors or potential residents simply looking for a beautiful place to live.
In this spirit, if you are interested in exploring the possibility of visiting or coming to live at the ranch, we would like to communicate with you. We have created a process for doing this which starts with potential visitors or residents filling out a questionnaire to begin this conversation. You can do this here. The questionnaire is designed to learn more about you and begin a conversation where you can get to know us. We will communicate with you, read what you have to say and be in touch to connect further.
We are also open to some temporary visitors, who would like to live, work and actively participate in ranch life for shorter periods and not as potential residents. We have, in particular, had some good experiences with people who have come through the Woofer website.
