[Description of buildings, pond, and more that make up Black Bear]
Current Infrastructure Projects include:
- Improving water systems: particularly the pond and hydroelectric systems for power, irrigation and fire protection
- Restoration of the workshop: Once the historic general store, this building became the ranch workshop. There are years of deferred maintenance on this structure that we are taking on. So far we have installed a new roof and created a list of needed repairs.
- Managing human waste: Permanent appropriate human waste processing system
- Barn Renovation: Renovation of the historic mortice and tenon barn where we house our goats and plan a residence for visitors and residents
